History

AIA Gainesville, also known as the Florida North Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, is a non-profit incorporated organization chartered by the American Institute of Architects and the State of Florida. The Chapter was incorporated in the State of Florida on 28 September 1955 and is a successor to the earlier unincorporated association chartered by The Institute on 27 April 1929.
